Easy Rainbow Sensory Bottle

This sensory bottle is very similar to my End of the Rainbow sensory bottle, but this one is much easier. Gold glitter slowly falls to reveal a ribbon rainbow! This craft is great for St. Patrick’s Day. When I set the bottle upside down, the black lid looks like a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

The only things in this sensory bottle are the glitter and liquid. I taped the ribbons to the outside of the bottle. Honestly, I kind of felt like that was cheating, but I really wanted to create a bottle that anyone could make and my End of the Rainbow bottle was so complex!

The ribbons I used were 3/8″ wide. I had to overlap them in order to be able to see all of the colors when viewed from the front of the bottle. So, thinner ribbon might work better.

Placing a strip of double sided tape at the top and bottom of the bottle made it easy to line up the ribbon. Once all the colors were in order, I added a piece of regular tape to the top and bottom to hold them in place.

I really like the way this bottle looks and how easily it comes together.

“If you return to the Almighty, you will be restored;
If you remove unrighteousness far from your tent,
And place your gold in the dust,
And the gold of Ophir among the stones of the brooks,
Then the Almighty will be your gold
And choice silver to you.
For then you will delight in the Almighty
And lift up your face to God.”
