Spring Sensory Bottles

Spring is in the air! Today I cleaned out the flower beds and started preparing them for a new year of growth. As I worked, I heard birds singing and chattering in the trees. I saw a robin. The air was cool and the sun was warm. The dirt smelled good. All of my senses were aware of a certain “springness” around me.

I love this time of year! Nature awakens from its dormant state and everything that once seemed cold and lifeless suddenly begins to grow and bloom. It is such a beautiful season in so many ways.

I have a few new spring sensory bottles this year, so I wanted to make a post to share them all!

The first one is my Spring Flowers sensory bottle. It is very easy to make and only uses four ingredients: leaf glitter, flower glitter, water, and glue. The flowers really catch the light and shine beautifully. Check out how I made it here.

Next is my Butterflies and Flowers Mason Jar. Although I made this with a glass jar, a craft bottle or plastic jar could also be used. This is another craft that comes together very easily. It looks pretty unique, with butterflies and flowers seeming to float in the jar. It also looks cool lit up. Check out how I made it here.

The last spring bottle that I made this year is my After the Storm sensory bottle. This one has a glitter storm that reveals a ribbon rainbow as it settles. This is one of my very favorite sensory bottles. Not only is it a great way to talk about weather with kids, it’s also a beautiful reminder that good things can come from life’s storms. Check out how I made it here.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you like my new spring sensory bottles!

“For as the earth brings forth its sprouts,
And as a garden causes the things sown in it to spring up,
So the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise
To spring up before all the nations.”

Isaiah 61:11
